The Story Behind HandyExpression

Honestly? I'm not a bookworm. But I am absolutely obsessed with cute things, beautiful stationery, and a really good cup of coffee. And it turns out, the bookish world has some of the most adorable, cosy aesthetics around – so naturally, I fell in love with it.

That passion for all things cute and stationery-worthy is what led me to start HandyExpression from my home studio. I wanted to create gifts that felt genuinely special – the kind of thing that makes someone smile the moment they unwrap it. Not mass-produced, not generic. Just thoughtful, handmade, and a little bit delightful.

The Handmade Process

Every bookmark is made right here in my home studio. Each design is created in Canva with bookish quotes and illustrations, printed on quality 300gsm linen-style paper, and hand-cut with rounded edges – because the little details really do matter.
